An award winning extension of a Grade II Listed Mill on the Waveney River in South Norfolk.
The existing house was sensitively extended to provide bathroom accommodation at ground floor and a further sitting room with balconies at first floor, close to the edge of the river. These allow the occupants to access and enjoy the view down the river which had not been possible with the original conversion of the granary building. The form of the extension is black stained timber, typical of the south Norfolk area and clay pantile roof. The windows are a slender section powder coated aluminium white colour. This was a sensitive project in Planning terms as the site is within a Conservation Area and the Broads Authority Area.
